Your business data, kept safe.

CrewMate holds your customer list, your jobs, and recordings of your calls — the heart of your business. Here, in plain English, is exactly how we protect it and what you stay in control of.

Each business is walled off
Your account’s data is isolated. One CrewMate business can never see another’s calls, customers, or jobs — enforced on every single database query.
No passwords to steal
Sign-in is a one-time link sent to your email — there’s no password on file to guess, reuse, or leak.
Encrypted in transit
Everything between your browser and CrewMate travels over HTTPS, the same encryption your bank uses.
Backed up daily
We take automatic daily backups so your customer list, jobs, and invoices can be recovered.
You can export or delete anytime
From your dashboard you can export or permanently delete any customer’s information yourself — no support ticket needed.
We never sell your data
Your business data and your customers’ information are yours. We use them only to run CrewMate for you.

The questions owners ask us

Who can see the information I put in?

Only you and the people you invite to your account. Every business on CrewMate is walled off from every other one, so no other company — and no other plumber using CrewMate — can ever see your calls, customers, quotes, or invoices. We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t use your customers’ information to advertise to you.

How do you keep it safe?

Data is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Sign-in is passwordless — a one-time link to your email — so there’s no password to steal. Administrative access is restricted, we keep automatic daily backups, and each business’s data is isolated at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, but we take steps matched to how sensitive this information is.

What happens to my call recordings?

Calls to your CrewMate number are answered by your AI assistant, recorded, and written down so it can book jobs and give you a record. Your assistant tells callers at the start that the call may be recorded. Recordings and transcripts are stored with your account and used only to run the call — you can review and delete them whenever you want.

Who else touches my data, and where is it?

To run the phone line, the AI, and email, we rely on a short list of trusted providers (below). Each one only handles the data needed to do its job, under its own security commitments. Some are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there. We use them because they’re what makes the phone, voice, and email features work.

What if I want my data out, or want it gone?

It’s your data. You can export any customer’s details from your dashboard at any time, and permanently delete information yourself. If you cancel, we keep your data for a short window so you can still retrieve it, then remove it — or delete it sooner if you ask. To make a request about your own information, just email us.
